Character: Strong, aromatic red Burgundy fruit (currant, sweet cherry), velvety tannins, very fresh, lively and gripping. Fine spice in the finish from aging in French oak barrels. A wine that is already very enjoyable when young due to its lush fruit, but also has great aging potential.
