Character: “Lay” is the local parcel name for our best vineyard in this location, Kinheimer Hubertuslay. Small-berried, aromatic grapes, long yeast storage, and fermentation on the grapes' own yeasts give this terroir wine a creamy density paired with a spicy minerality: A wine with great aging potential. The total quantity is only 600 bottles.

Pairs well with: An excellent accompaniment to aromatic, rich dishes with strong sauces (marinated chicken, spicy curries).
